Part of our 250 Windham series. On Friday the Jillson House Museum will host a reception for our art exhibit of Lou Frink, local Windham folk artist who was born in 1870, died 1956. Mr. Frink was a self-taught, “primitive” folk painter best known for his nostalgic, snow-covered landscapes of Windham, capturing the quiet, everyday beauty of his hometown. The reception will include a presentation about Mr. Frink’s life, his works and how he was a major contributor to the history of Windham. Light refreshments included.
