Completed in 1873 in the elegant French Second Empire style, this remarkable building showcases exquisite craftsmanship and many of its original furnishings. Join city leaders for a behind-the-scenes tour of this historic landmark and discover spaces rarely open to the public, including the intriguing basement jail cells that have earned a “dungeon-like” reputation. Along the way, uncover fascinating stories about the building’s history, design, and role in Norwich’s civic life. Please note that access to the clock tower is not permitted.
