Join TLGV as we kick off our Roving Ranger Hiking Series! We will be walking the Claire Birtz Property in Southbridge MA with the property stewards Opacum Land Trust. This is a moderate hike of 1.5 miles, winding along Morse Pond and through the woods, with varied habitat of beech trees, hemlocks and mixed forest habitat. Moderate, Registration Required. The trailhead and parking is located off of Rt. 169 (North Woodstock Road) on Tipton Rock Road, in Southbridge. Do not approach from Blackmer Rd. or Lebanon Hill. Take Rt. 169. Sections of Tipton Rock Road are impassable.
