Owney, a stray dog adopted by the Albany (NY) Post Office, became the unofficial mascot of the railroad postal clerks. Perhaps the most famous and well-traveled dog of all time, Owney visited Norwich twice in the 1880s. Kevin Harkins, of Heritage Information Radio, will channel Owney in a dog’s-eye tour of the downtown. Owney knows where the bones are buried! Sponsored by City of Norwich, norwichct.org
