Thompson’s 2024 Community Day — Historical Society Museum Tours

Get a chance to see a portion of Thompson Historical Society’s vast collections. Housed in the administrative building of Thompson Public Schools, the Historical Society has two collections; The Kenney Store and Post Office, which reflects the old train depot, general store and post office in Mechanicsville and a celebration of the 10 villages that comprise modern Thompson; and the Ramsdell Transportation Collection, celebrating the railroad, trolley, and shipping photographs, memorabilia and artwork collected by West Thompson native Frank Ramsdell and later his daughter Alice.
