Join TLGV at Bigelow Hollow State Park for a Breakneck Loop trek! This is a difficult 4-hour, 6-mile hike that traverses the shoreline of Breakneck Pond for beautiful pond views and forested tranquility. Bring a lunch, we will be stopping to eat halfway! TLGV Wander & Ponder Walks span the length of The Last Green Valley and are inspired by the transformative journey across New England taken in Andrew Krivak’s The Bear. Join a community of readers to explore the relationship between humanity and nature as part of a year-long Big Read Program at Eastern CT State University with walks, book discussions, exhibits and creative writing workshops.
