Join TLGV with an easy 1-hour, 2-mile loop around the Wildlife Management Area at the Quinebaug River Trout Hatchery. This should be a wonderful hike for birders, as the area has been managed for a rare-in-CT meadow/forest edge habitat that birds love. TLGV Wander & Ponder Walks span the length of The Last Green Valley and are inspired by the transformative journey across New England taken in Andrew Krivak’s The Bear. Join a community of readers to explore the relationship between humanity and nature as part of a year-long Big Read Program at Eastern CT State University with walks, book discussions, exhibits and creative writing workshops.
