Join FOPF and Michael Carroll from Rediscovering History as we celebrate our Veterans in the Forest. For our third annual Veterans celebration, we wanted to go back to our roots and hear about the history of the holiday and learn about some other local organizations and events that support Veterans in our community. We invite all Veterans, family members, community members, as well as those interested in history, to come hear this fascinating presentation and to join in our celebration. In addition, we’d like to honor our Vets by inviting those who wish to share stories about their service experiences. We will have a campfire and s’mores and other light refreshments.
