Walk with us along the Willimantic River to view the buildings, gardens, and bridges that illustrate Thread City’s past and present. Starting at Whitewater Park on the Willimantic River (close to the Railroad Museum), we will take an easy walk along the river and railroad tracks, cross the Frog Bridge, visit the Garden on the Bridge, and do a tour of the Mill Museum (fee required). We will return by walking along Main Street while visiting public gardens maintained by the Garden Club of Windham. There are excellent lunch opportunities nearby.
