Discover the Dinosaurs in The Last Green Valley
TLGV is thrilled to offer a very special Acorn Adventure at 2 pm March 22 created by Demetrius Diaz. Demetrius is a high school student and an intern for both TLGV and UConn’s Natural Resources Conservation Academy. Demetrius’ love of dinosaurs has led him to a love of birds. Demetrius will explain during an indoor presentation how dinosaurs evolved into birds. Then, we will make a craft to take home that will help protect birds from flying into windows. The program will end with a walk around the property to see which dinosaurs we can still see, including the chance to see a bald eagle in its nest. TLGV has a few pairs of binoculars to share, but if you have your own, bring them! For more information, please contact Ranger Cassidy by emailing Cassidy@tlgv.org or calling 860-774-3300.
The program will be held at Camp Quinebaug, 54 Taos Dr., Danielson (Killingly), CT.
