Join Chief Ranger Bill Reid for our annual “First Day of Spring” Vernal Equinox hike and kick off to TLGV’s Spring Outdoors program, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., March 20.

This year we’ll make the trek to Breakneck Pond at Bigelow State Park in Union, CT. The hike will be approximately 4-miles round trip. Wear appropriate clothing for late winter weather and muddy trail conditions. Bring your own water, snacks and a lunch is suggested. This Vernal Equinox Hike is for TLGV Members and their guests.
