Celebrate the Autumnal Equinox with TLGV Chief Ranger Bill Reid with a six-mile hike 9 am to 1:30 p.m., Sept. 23 on the Nipmuck Trail and Breakneck Pond trails at Bigelow Hollow State Park and Nipmuck State Forest. Participants should bring a trail lunch to enjoy near the pond. Please note this is a physically challenging hike due to the length and rough terrain. Participants must have good balance for stream crossings and be in excellent physical condition. Trekking poles are recommended.
