Bigelow Hollow State Park offers multi-use trails of various length & difficulty are available in the 9,000+ acre area for snowshoeing & cross-country skiing. Snowmobile trail is 9 miles, traverses an old woods road & serves 2-way traffic for a short distance, remainder forms series of loops providing considerable adjustment for time and distance. Winds through ledges in evergreen woodlands, and is moderately demanding of operator skill, especially in narrow passages. (See also Nipmuck Forest). Some seasonal fees here.
