Park in a few lots on Kennedy Dr.

With the extension added in 2016, the Putnam River Trail is over 2.5 miles long now – one way! Flat & paved, the original section completed in 1998 and part of the East Coast Greenway, winds through the park & includes walk along the Quinebaug River & past Cargill Falls. Interpretive plaques explain area’s history while storybook trail entertains the kiddos. No fee.
