Trail head and parking are located off Rt. 131 across from the Golden Greek Restaurant.

An ongoing rails-to-trails project for the discontinued Providence & Worcester rail spur from Webster to Southbridge. The project envisions a connection from Southbridge’s Heritage Trail to the onset of the rail trail on Crane Street. When completed, it will extend 11 miles. At this time there are about 5 miles completed from Rt. 131 to the Dudley line where it connects to the Dudley trail system. No fee.
