Walktober Guides Are Here!
In Southern New England, Walktober is the most wonderful time of the year.
Brought to you by The Last Green Valley, Inc. (TLGV), the 29th year of Walktober runs from Sept. 21 to Nov. 3 and offers an array of adventures, with more than 200 unique experiences and more than 300 opportunities to enjoy autumn in The Last Green Valley National Heritage Corridor. The Walktober brochure is free and details the guided walks, hikes, bike rides, paddles, tastes and events featured during Walktober. The Walktober brochure also includes the Walktober Challenge, a chance to win TLGV’s new green tumbler. Visit our Walktober page for all the details!
Brochures will be available starting Labor Day Weekend and will roll out to the entire region in the first weeks of September. Find a copy at any town hall, library or information kiosk within The Last Green Valley National Heritage Corridor! To receive your own brochure: email mail@tlgv.org; call 860-774-3300; or download a PDF from our Walktober page.
All updates, additions and cancellations will be posted on the Walktober page on TLGV’s website and alerts given on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Please check the website and social media pages often as additional events will be added started Labor Day Weekend.
In 2018, about 80,000 participants enjoyed Walktober, providing a major economic boost to the region. The Walktober brochure makes it easy to plan a season of adventures.
