We admit, with the holidays and all this snow, that time has flown by much too quickly over the last two months.  As a result, we missed changing our December quiz question when January rolled around.  So now we get to announce two winners drawn from those who correctly answered the question, “What is the largest state forest in The Last Green Valley (and the entire state of Connecticut)?   Both Cathy R. from Voluntown, CT, and Carol O.  from Holden, MA, knew that Pachaug State Forest was the answer, encompassing 24,000 acres in five towns.  Cathy, who is new to TLGV, received a TLGV membership package, and Carol, a long-time member, will receive a custom TLGV mug.   Congratulations to you both!
