America celebrates 250 years of independence in 2026, and we invite you to join us in a discussion about how the National Heritage Corridor will honor every American’s quest for life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. We’ll discuss local, state and federal planning efforts, and we need your help to shape a TLGV-funded small grant program to seed local projects.

Whether you are a local historian, a fan of history, you love your community or you think there are stories that need to be told, you are welcome to join us and play a role in shaping the regional efforts moving forward. We will share TLGV’s America 250 framework designed to ensure Americans of all backgrounds see themselves in our shared history.

This will be a hybrid meeting with both in person and zoom attendance possible.
