Cornerstone Bank was formed in 2017, and was built on the foundation of two local, mutual banks joining together – Spencer BANK and Southbridge Savings Bank. Both banks have proudly served and supported their customers and communities in Central Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut since 1871 and 1848, respectively. Individually, each bank made a positive difference in the lives of individuals and business in their communities and together, can make an even greater impact. Located in the communities of Charlton, Southbridge, Sturbridge and Webster within The Last Green Valley.
