Lebanon Historical Society Museum

History-themed letterboxes await you around Lebanon’s historic green. While outside you can follow our History Walk trail where stories of our historic buildings, orchard & rain garden are revealed as you follow the interpretive signs that guide you around our campus. Our indoor galleries are open to explore too. Discover 10,000 years of local history as you dig into Lebanon’s past at your own pace. Visit exhibits, become a Revolutionary War soldier in our hands-on history room, research a Lebanon ancestor or join a volunteer touring our historic buildings. Open year-round, Wed. – Sat., 12 – 4 pm. Tours also available mid-May – mid-Oct. for the Jonathan Trumbull Jr. House, Beaumont House and Pastor’s Library, call for schedule. We offer monthly programs and events with annual special events including a celebration of traditional crafts with Hands-On History Day on the second Saturday of June, and our famous Antique Show on the Lebanon Green always held on the last Saturday in September featuring homemade chowders and pies. Visit historyoflebanon.org for details on these and other programs.
