Lebanon Town Green Loop

Lebanon Town Green Loop is an easy 2 mile loop walk (handicapped accessible) around historic 1 mile town green. A National Register Historic District of great importance during the American Revolution. Visit where General George Washington reviewed his troops in 1781, see 30+ historic buildings & sites, including the War Office where Washington, Rochambeau & CT Governor Jonathan Trumbull (the only colonial governor to support the Revolution) met.

In winter, a portion of the green is flooded for ice skating and is lighted in the evening. Parking is available at the Library, Alden Tavern Parking Lot, and the Jonathan Trumbull House. No fee.

Park at the Lebanon Historical Society & Visitors Center, 286 Rte. 87.
