Springtime trout stocking of the brook will hook you on stream fishing. Enjoy 2 camping areas, youth group camping, picnic tables & shelters, dump station and bathrooms. Take a moderate 4.75 mile loop trail, which includes some steep hills up to the Wolf’s Den, on the National Register of Historic Places, where Revolutionary War hero Israel Putnam killed the last wolf in CT according to folklore. Also see “Indian Chair” rock formation on top of a 20′ cliff overlooking the valley. No fee.
