Join Lead Night Sky Ranger Geoff McLean on April 27 from 6 – 9 pm at the Nathan Hale Homestead, 2299 South St., Coventry, CT,
as he introduces the amazing and challenging world of combining photography and astronomical observing. You don’t have to have your own Hubble Telescope to capture incredible images of the night sky, but you also can’t point and shoot. Geoff will cover equipment and its usefulness, from the simple camera on a tripod to more sophisticated gear, and the software needed to make images that will wow you and your friends. You’ll learn about options from free to expensive and get to learn from Geoff’s missteps. This is a rain or clear night event. Registration is required through Hale Homestead.
