TLGV is Seeking its Next Executive Director

Lois Bruinooge, the current Executive Director of The Last Green Valley Inc. (TLGV), has announced her retirement effective in May 2026. TLGV is seeking a passionate and creative professional to lead the organization into the future.

“Lois has been executive director for TLGV since 2014. During that time the organization has expanded our programs exponentially, increased non-federal revenue to improve our financial stability, and made significant progress towards our strategic priorities. Among these priorities are preparations for an innovative discovery center and hub for the National Heritage Corridor that is anchored in the ideals of community, outreach, and education,” said Sandra Gibson-Quigley, Chairperson of the TLGV Board. “Lois is always professional and personable. While we will miss her creative, engaged, and inspiring leadership, we are excited to embark on our next phase of growth and are seeking an exceptional candidate to help us do so.”

The Executive Director is TLGV’s chief executive officer and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of TLGV’s operations including strategic decision-making, community engagement, program development, fundraising, financial and operational management, and staff supervision. The Executive Director works collaboratively with a dedicated, active Board of Directors and a small, passionate staff to achieve TLGV’s vision for a vibrant Corridor where our communities are engaged and take pride in celebrating the people and resources that make it special.

A detailed job posting can be found here.  Potential applicants should email a cover letter and resume to Lois@tlgv.org by 5 pm on Dec. 19, 2025.
