TLGV members are invited to join Chief Ranger Bill on Friday, February 10, 2017, from 7 – 9 pm, for a Full Moon Hike at the  Connecticut Audubon Society at Trail Wood – The Edwin Way Teale Memorial Sanctuary.

Trail Wood is a beautiful 168 acre nature preserve and the former home of writer-naturalist Edwin Way Teale and his wife Nellie Teale. The property is beautiful by day and magical by night, especially during a full moon. Pull yourself away from the demands of the day, slow down for a bit, walk the trails and become familiar with the sights and sounds of a Trail Wood evening. If conditions permit bring along your snowshoes to aid in your enjoyment of the Trail Wood trails during the full moon.

Cost is free to TLGV members however a donation to Connecticut Audubon Society and Trail Wood is suggested.
