TLGV Member Program – Soaring over The Last Green Valley: The Return of the Bald Eagle
Join Chief Ranger Bill for an informative presentation on Tuesday, November 29 at 7 pm about the return of bald eagles to The Last Green Valley National Heritage Corridor. The program will detail the physical characteristics of bald eagles, their nesting habits, and their dramatic decline during the mid-20th century and resurgence since the 1990s. Information will be provided on current eagle populations in Connecticut and Massachusetts as well as eagle nesting pairs in The Last Green Valley National Heritage Corridor.
