Old Furnace State Park

Join us to help clean up Old Furnace. We'll be picking up trash, clearing dead fall, and picking up sticks. Meet at the lower lot off Ross Rd. Bring work gloves if you have them. We'll have gloves, trash pickers, garbage bags, hand saws, and loppers if you need.

Hike 4 miles for 3- 4 hours on moderately rough woodland trails when mountain laurel is in bloom. Learn how iron ore was produced in furnaces in the 1830’s and experience dramatic views from the top of Ross’ Cliffs.
