Join TLGV and folks from the Opacum Land Trust on March 19 from 10 am to 12 pm as we celebrate the Vernal Equinox and the kick-off of Spring Outdoors. Opacum Woods, Old Brook Circle, Sturbridge, MA, is 266 acres of woodlands, ponds, vernal pools, wetlands and historic and prehistoric sites. Wildlife is abundant on this property throughout the year. We’ll be hiking more than 2 miles on moderate terrain, with one steep uphill section. Along the way we’ll enjoy the beautiful forest habitat while celebrating the Vernal Equinox and the first day of Spring 2024. RSVP is required and space is limited to 20 people.
