Ranger Marcy’s Acorn Adventures – Water Lily and Dragon Fly Art
Lily pads are hiding spots for turtles & frogs, landing pads for dragonflies, and they have their own little ecosystems surrounding them! Explore and learn about water lilies & lily pads and what goes on over and under them with Ranger Marcy on Sunday, July 19, from 1 – 3 pm, at Roseland Lake in Woodstock, CT (Roseland Park Rd., near the intersection of Routes 169 and 171).
Craft: a dragonfly from twigs & maple samaras or keys, better known as whirlybirds, helicoptors, or noses!
Bring: Camera, binoculars, smiles! Together we can Enjoy, Share and Pass on The Last Green Valley!
Snacks, Acorn Club stickers & water lily fact sheets for the kids, too!
