Garden on the Bridge Spruce Up

The Garden Club of Windham is planning to spruce up the Garden on the Bridge in Willimantic in anticipation of a block party to be held at a later date. The goal of the clean-up/spruce-up will be to tidy things up and give the plantings a healthy start on the growing season. A tentative date is scheduled for May 18, 2024 from 9 am – noon. Volunteer students from Eastern Connecticut State University’s Center for Community Engagement will participate in the clean-up/green-up. We will also invite members of Eastern’s newly formed Garden Club and students from our EPA-sponsored Environmental Education grant to participate.
