Lady Slipper Safari

Join us on a hunt for the elusive lady slippers. We will head on a journey along the blue Pachaug trail in a pursuit of these sneaky fauna. Along the way we will discuss some of the unique facts and other information about these beautiful native flowers. Plan for a slow hike with frequent stops to view and photograph flowers. Depending on attendees, hike will be between 2-3 miles. Bring a water bottle.

Easy, Restrooms Nearby. Enter via Pachaug main entrance in Rt 49 in Voluntown (near Smokey the Bear). Drive down Headquartes Rd. At the split with the Statue in the middle, take a right. Parking is just ahead on the right and overflow parking is available across the road as needed as well. Meet by the fire ring on the side with the flag pole.
