Revolutionary Abington

Enjoy a fireside chat with Pomfret’s History Detectives, Donna Dufresne and Walter Hinchman to learn about Abington’s role in the Revolutionary War. There are 60 Revolutionary War soldiers buried in Old Abington’s Burial Ground and it was the site of the training grounds for Captain Zebadiah Ingalls’ 11th Regiment. A $10 suggested donation supports the Pomfret Historical Society. You are encouraged to enjoy food and drink from the Vanilla Bean during the program. Hosted by the Pomfret Historical Society.
