Summer Solstice Paddle

Join TLGV rangers and staff for TLGV’s Annual Summer Solstice Sunset Paddle. Celebrate the solstice with an enjoyable evening paddle at East Brimfield Lake in Brimfield, CT and take in the first glorious sunset of summer. The area is rich with birds and other wildlife and the evening paddle should provide some interesting observation opportunities. You must have your own boat and a PFD (personal floatation device). Please plan to arrive by 6:30 to get set up for a 7 pm launch. RSVP is required. Contact Bill Reid at 860-774-3300 or bill@tlg.org.to register or for more information. Moderate, Bring Canoe or Kayak & PFD; Registration Required. The boat launch is located on the north side of Route 20 in Fiskdale (Sturbridge). East Brimfield Lake and Long Pond are part of the East Brimfield US Army Corps of Engineers Project area.
